According to the rules of compulsory health insurance, spa treatment can be a continuation of hospital treatment or a spa treatment that is not a continuation of hospital treatment and is carried out in the following ways:
  • Inpatient treatment, lasting 14 days,
  • Outpatient treatment, lasting 10 days.
The insured person has the right to spa treatment if the designated doctor or the health commission of the institute decide that it is justified, and at least one of the following conditions is expected:
  • Significant improvement in health condition for a longer period,
  • Restoration of functional and work capabilities,
  • Prevention of disease progression or worsening of health condition for a longer period,
  • Reduction in the frequency of work absences due to illness or hospital treatment.
The designated doctor determines the spa facility where the insured person will be referred for treatment, based on the facility's qualifications for various treatments. At Terme Olimia, we will be happy to welcome you for spa treatment based on the decision of the designated doctor of the Health Insurance Institute (ZZZS) in cases of inflammatory rheumatism, degenerative extra-articular rheumatism, post-injury or post-surgery conditions of the musculoskeletal system, or in cases of non-contagious chronic skin diseases.

For these four types of medical conditions, we offer both inpatient and outpatient spa treatment based on a contract with ZZZS.

ABSENCE FROM THERAPY

If you are unable to attend the scheduled appointment, you can excuse your absence in writing without providing a reason no later than 10 days before the planned physiotherapy session, and this can be done only once.

If you do not attend and fail to excuse your absence in advance, you will be removed from the waiting list, and the work order will no longer be valid. You may rejoin the waiting list for the same service with the same provider only after 3 months.

A late cancellation must be in writing and is possible only for objective reasons, such as an urgent or unforeseen event that prevented you from attending the physiotherapy session (e.g., illness, death in the family, natural disaster, traffic accident). In case of a justified absence, we will place you on the waiting list for the next available appointment.

Cancellation is no longer possible 30 days after the scheduled date.
